This month we are happy to present artwork by Carly Tyson, the winner of the Outstanding Undergraduate show this year. She is a sophomore studying Art Therapy at Adrian. Her work includes two and three dimensional pieces featuring fibers, metals, paint, and paper.
Carly’s inspiration for her show comes from trees. “To me the message of a tree varies so much, between growth, change and family there are so many different meanings…” Trees can represent many aspects in a person’s life and Carly’s work explores these with a creative spark and passion.
The show is open during regular library hours through Friday, January 27. We hope you stop by and have a look!
